Our Story
LEXCAP was founded by corporate lawyers who have led in-house legal teams for multinational companies. We saw that businesses deserve legal partners who understand strategy, not just statutes.
Today, LEXCAP combines business acumen with legal expertise to help clients navigate Egypt's legal system with confidence. Our lawyers have handled investments in manufacturing, led cross-border joint ventures in technology, advised contractors on multi-million-dollar deals, and represented employers in labour arbitrations.

Leadership
Islam Swelam is a Senior Corporate Legal Counsel with over 10 years of experience advising multinational companies, holding groups and growth-focused businesses across Egypt and the GCC. His experience spans corporate governance, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory affairs, business structuring, compliance and commercial dispute resolution.
Before founding LEXCAP, he held senior legal positions within multinational organisations, leading legal functions and supporting complex commercial operations, cross-border transactions and strategic business initiatives. That in-house experience continues to shape the firm's approach: practical legal counsel aligned with commercial objectives.
